Mean

I have realized, truly realized that there are people that are just really mean. In the true essence of the word, they are just mean. Eventhough you are not doing anything bad to them, they would still bully you, call you names and even wish that you are dead. I don't want to be associated with this type of people. They are not good for my well being.

I am glad that I have have met a few people that are not like them. :)

I would contiue to be civil with them, talk to them as if nothing happened. I would not confront them. Confronting them would mean that they have succeeded in bringing me down.

Positive outlook always! BE LOVE!

otokei??

For days I've been thinking what I should do with my valuable spare time. I now have decided to invest in a little business this coming Christmas.  I really hope it will do well so that I can continue even after Christmas season is over. :)

Anawangin Cove

I have been to Anawangin Cove in Zambaes three times already but I only explored Capones island once. I must say I really loved it. The water was clean and refreshing. It is very unique because of its pine trees. The atmosphere was very relaxing. There weren't so many people who were aware of Anwangin Cove back then. Hence, it was less crowded and less polluted.

I heard that there is a sari-sari store already and you can pay for a package to go there (includes van trnasfers, tents, food etc.) But I must say the charm of going to Anawangin is going there knowing that you are in a different world. I think having a sari-sari store in the island is convenient but takes ways its charm a little bit.

Nonetheless, here are some of my photos of Anawangin Cove...

Potipot Island

Potipot island was the reason I became a fan of beaches. I seldom go to the beach before since I never knew that the Philippines has so much awesome beaches.

On November 2007, together with my friends Lalaine (who was very much pregnat back then) and Heidi decided to embark on a trip to Potipot island. Before I continue further, I'll tell you a short backstory why we decided to go to Potipot island.

(disclaimer: this story is just from what I remember.)

Lalaine and I met and became friends through an non profit organization that helps special children. We also met and became really close with some other volunteers. Then these supposedly close friends of ours decided to go to Potipot island without inviting us. Lalaine all pregnant and emotional got really pissed and decided we should go on our own too. Heidi tagged along and after just a week of preparation, we went there. I had to incude that backstory because thinking about it sill makes me angry. argh!

Stank Face - lol

So back to Potipot, we took a Victory Liner Bus bound for Sta Cruz, Zambales at the Caloocan terminal. Based on the blogs that Lalaine read prior to that day, she just told the conductor to drop us off to Dawal in Uacon. We went staright to our accommodation in Sunbloom Resort.

On our way to our accommodation

Sunbloom Resort

We decided to eat dinner at the floating restaurant near the mini park where we were dropped off earlier. The food was not that great and since we ate past dinner time already, we were the only ones there. Additionally, a floating reastaurat do not really make sense when the view is all pitch black. So we went back to Sunbloom and started singing.

more singing

After singing Heart's Alone way too many times, we decided to sleep and take a rest. We needed to wake up the next morning to go to Potipot island.

breakfast time

We were awake even before sunrise, and after a few minutes our breakfast was ready. We ate to our heart's content and went to Potipot island which was about 5-7 minutes away from our accommodation.

off to the island

that is the entire island

Upon arrival, I was amazed by the beauty of the beach and the powdery white sand. Before Potipot island, I've only been to you know, Batangas and Puero Galera. The beaches there were fine, but nothing special. Unlike this island, it so beautiful and serene I wanted to cry (LOL). So we spent the entire morning until almost afternoon taking a dip into the clear water, cam whoring and eating.

Lunch time
We decided to leave the island after we ate our lunch. We went back to our accommodation and prepared to go home.

It was an awesome trip with my friends. I realized after visiting Potipot island that I really want to travel around the Philippines. We have so many beautiful beaches and tourist spots that we take for granted.

1 month and 10 days

It has been a month and ten days since decided to quit smoking. I cannot say that I totally did not smoke a cig within that month and ten days. It has been challenging for me to quit. I have been smoking since I was in college, and that was like 10 or 9 years ago. So when I decided to quit, I knew it was the right time and I know i'd be able to do it.

For the past two years, I noticed that I have been sick almost every other month. I initially thought it was just due to the insane weather. So I continued my unhealthy habit. When I again got sick last month, I have realized already that it was due to my unhealthy lifestyle. I don't sleep at least 7 or 8 hours a day. I don't drink multivatamins. I don't exercise. And I have a very bad habit that I could not seem to get rid off, I smoke.

I have always told my friends, that the only person that would be able to make me quit smoking will be me. So that day, when I got sick and realized that I do not want to die early (seriously I was thinking that) I decided to quit smoking. Heaven was on my side since all of my work friends who smoke no longer has the same break schedules as mine. Hence, no more yosi buddies. I decided to just chit chat with my friends whenever it is my break or after eating during lunch time. I was really determined.

After a month of not smoking, I became really proud of myself as I was able to accomplish the goal I set upon myself. However, due to some unforseen reason, I suddenly craved for it. I then decided to just smoke one last time, and I did. It was okay, but the feeling of satisfaction that I felt before whenever I smoke is no longer there. I relaized by smoking that last cig that it is really something that I do not need. I can live my life without it. Plus, my skin would improve and I don't have to worry that I smell bad because of the smell of cig smoke.

I am quite certain now hat I will be able to continue not smoking in the following months or even years. Here is to becoming a healthy person and living longer. Cheers!

Boracay Trips

I have been to Boracay three times, August 2008, November 2010 and July 2011. Eventhough I have been to that island three times already, I still have the urge to go back. Why the hell not?! The beach is so beautiful that I could cry. If you want a peaceful vacation, it is a place to be. If you want to party at night, it is the place to be. If you want to try out water sports, it is still th place to be. As I always tell my friends, buy a plane ticket and go to Boracay. You would not even need to pack your things. You can just buy a pair of swimsuit when you get there.

Let me show you a compilation of my pictures taken in Boracay. :)

Those are just some of my pics taken during my trips to Boracay. I know some people say that Boaracay is overrated, but still, it has the beach ever and the sand is powdery white. If given  chance, I will still go back to Boracay. It is the best place on earth for me. ;)

30% vs 60% ... Yellow Cab

Do you know that Yellow Cab is owned by a Filipino? Yah, me too! I just learned it recently.. *wink*

This is a long overdue blog about our food trip in Yellow Cab last 08 April. I was looking forward to eating their famouns pasta, Charlie Chan, but I ended up loving their Chicken Alfredo instead. Maybe my taste buds just wanted something new. Nonetheless, everything was YUM..

I really like eating delish food, especially when you have good friends to eat it with.

My favorite part that day was the chikahan period after we ate. Lots of laughters and talk about Ruch and I's "possible love interests".

(clockwise L-R) Ruch, Ed, Madam Rona, Kitzuki, Sam

I just noticed that I do not have a picture of Chicken Alfredo..too bad! Anyway,  I was able to take pictures of  New York's Finest, Baked Potato Halves and Charlie Chan.

Secret Garden OST part 1

Tantaranan-tanan….presenting -  Secret Garden’s OST part 1!!!

CD Cover

My friend Kitz went to a Cosplay convention in SM Mega Mall last Saturday. Since God loves me so much, he made sure that Kitz would stumble upon a booth that sells Korean drama stuffs. Kitz texted me right away when she saw the CD of Secret Garden for its OST . To be honest, one CD is kind of pricey (800PHP, but Kitz was able to bargain and buy it for 700PHP), but then again, who cares, it is Hyun Bin on the cover plus Ha Ji Won's beauty is featured as well.

Ra-Im

Additionally, Secret Garden is my favorite Korean Drama of all time, beating Full House in the no. 1 spot. So hell yeah, I told Kitz to buy it for me. NO REGRETS!!! :)

Joo Won captivated by Ra-Im

                                                              Joo Won imagining Ra-Im

I swear, I will buy the OST part 2. Hyun Bin’s version of "That Man" is in that OST and my fave song from the drama, "You Are My Spring".

Ha Ji-Won missing Hyun Bin (lol)

And of course, i will not forget my favorite idol oppa...i want me a pair of Oska socks

Oska brooding... :)

By the way, Kitz bought a pouch designed with Jang Geun Seuk’s pictures. She's crazy in love with JGS... See, it is so cute…lalalala…

Who cares if I don't understand Korean.. what is important to me is that I remember my fave scenes from the drama whenever I listen to the music..
